I am happy to be able to show these designs which were probably created in the 1920s in one of the large design studios or one of the textile mills in Krefeld, Germany. Unfortunately the designers were never mentioned by name, since they worked for a company which paid their wages.
Krefeld was known for its textile industry, in particular silk and velvet fabrics. Silk tie fabrics were sold all over the world, and about 90% of all neck ties sold in Germany came from Krefeld.
